Tasmania Not Expected to Win License

AUSTRALIA – As reported by the Australian: "Australian Racing Board chairman Andrew Ramsden believes Tasmanian Premier Paul Lennon will not grant a licence to betting exchange Betfair in September if he listens to what the ARB has to say about integrity issues.

"Ramsden was due to meet Lennon today in Melbourne but the meeting has been deferred. ARB secretary Andrew Harding and Racing Victoria chief executive Robert Nason will sit down with the Premier soon to put their case against Betfair…"
