Talking Stick Resort to host Christmas toy drive poker tournament on 14 December4 December 2019(PRESS RELEASE) -- On Saturday, 14 December, poker enthusiasts will have the chance to win big, while giving back to the community at Talking Stick Resort’s Christmas Toy Drive Tournament. As part of the annual no-limit hold’em tournament, now in its 17th year, players bring in a new unwrapped gift to buy in. Gifts collected during the tournament will be donated to the Salt River Children’s Foundation on the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. Play in the tournament will start at 11:15 a.m. with each participant starting with $3,000 in chips for the price of their new, unwrapped gift valued at $10 or more. In return for their goodwill, participants have a shot at winning a portion of the $14,000 guaranteed prize pool. Players can sign up starting Saturday, 30 November at noon in The ARENA Poker Room at the resort, the donated gift is due at the time of sign up.
