Gaming NewsTalking Stick Resort offering spring break for poker players with Getaway Classic7 March 2016(PRESS RELEASE) -- Talking Stick Resort is celebrating the start of spring with an exciting no-limit Hold'em tournament and weekend escape. The Getaway Classic will take place in The ARENA Poker Room on April 15, 16 and 17. It offers three days of competition and a prize pool of up to $120,000. Players who sign up for all three days can also receive a complimentary two-night hotel stay (rooms are based on availability). The tournament will begin each day at 11:15 a.m. and will feature the following buy-ins: April 15, $200; April 16, $300; April 17, $300. Participants can sign up for the three-day package, as well as register for individual days. Buy-ins are required at the time of sign-up. Based on 200 entries, the daily prize pools will be as follows: April 15, $34,000; April 16, $53,000; April 17, $33,000. Players can also score a seat in the event by participating in the Win a Seat tournament on Sunday, March 20 and Sunday, March 27 or the Single Entry Shootouts taking place from March 1 to April 15. The Win a Seat buy-in is $110 and the Single Entry Shootouts buy-in is $100. All participants must be ages 21+ and Player Rewards Club members. |
