Table games a hit at Pennsylvania casino5 October 2010POCONO MOUNTAINS, Pennsylvania -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- It has become abundantly clear that table games are a major hit at Pennsylvania casinos. August marked the first time that all nine of the state's casinos featured table games such as blackjack, craps and poker for a full month and, according to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, $34.6 million was brought in by the new games, meaning $4.8 million in taxes was paid to the state and nearly $700,000 went to host municipalities. Mount Airy Casino brought in $3.4 million in table game revenue and overall saw its revenues climb 24 percent – the highest percentage gain in the state.
