Sydney Casino was Real Target

AUSTRALIA – As reported by the Australia Herald Sun: "Sydney's Star City casino revealed yesterday that it was the real target of the Mars and Snickers bar extortionist.

"…Star City chief operating officer Jim L'Estrange revealed yesterday that the casino had received 'several' letters over the past month.

"…Mr L'Estrange said the casino had immediately passed on all letters to police. Detective Superintendent Peter Cotter yesterday called on the letters' author to 'open up the lines of communication' with police or Star City.

"…More than three million Mars and Snickers bars have been removed from shelves in NSW after MasterFoods received letters claiming seven bars had been poisoned."
