Sussex County Council rejects casino bill19 June 2013GEORGETOWN, Delaware — Sussex County Council has voted against House Bill 135 bill that would have allowed a casino, according to The News Journal. Councillors principally objected to the surfeit of casinos already established in the state, the report said. They also objected to being gaming revenue dependent, The News Journal said. The results of the vote mean the Sussex deputy administrator can offer testimony against the bill, the report made note. |
