Support from preservation group for Gettysburg casino18 August 2010WASHINGTON -- Support for a casino near Gettysburg has come, surprisingly, from an unexpected source, WTOP reported. The Gettysburg Battlefield Preservation Association agreed the project would be good for the local economy, WTOP said. The proposal has many opponents but GBPA pointed out that funding and the economy are essential to its preservation work, WTOP quoted. A public hearing is to be held August 31, 2010. |
