Summer Kickoff Poker Tournament arrives at Mohegan Sun in June21 May 2026(PRESS RELEASE) -- Mohegan Sun’s Poker Room kicks off the summer with the return of its popular Summer Kickoff Poker Tournament, beginning Friday, 12 June at 11:10am and culminating Sunday, 14 June with a champion crowned. The $400 buy-in No Limit Hold’em event features $75,000 guaranteed prize pool. Later in June, Mohegan Sun Poker continues the excitement with a Juneteenth High Hand Special, offering players the chance to win prizes from Noon to Midnight during the holiday. On-site registration for the Summer Kickoff Poker Tournament at Mohegan Sun will be held in the Poker Room starting at 9:15am before each flight and will remain open until the beginning of level seven. Players will start with $25,000 in chips, with the option for a 5,000 chip add on for $10. Mohegan Sun Poker also regularly offers daily “No Limit Texas Hold’em” and “Bounty” tournaments. A special Juneteenth High Hand Special is also set for Friday, 19 June from Noon to Midnight, where the qualifying high hand every 20 minutes between Noon – 2:00pm and 10:00pm to Midnight will win $1,000. The qualifying high hand every 20 minutes between 2:00pm – 10:00pm will win $600. Qualifying high hands include Aces full or better!
