SugarHouse introduces monthly dinner series

(PRESS RELEASE) -- SugarHouse Casino's own Hugo's Frog Bar & Chop House is offering a new monthly dinner series in partnership with various premier liquor brands. On Tuesday, 21 February at 7 p.m., the first installment, "Meat & Makers," will feature a five course dinner paired with five specialty cocktails by Makers Mark.

Each "Meat & Makers" course is expertly prepared to complement the Makers Mark cocktails. Hugo's premium steak and seafood, paired with refined, barrel-aged whiskey, will please even the most astute palates.

After starting the night with passed appetizers, guests will enjoy the following five courses:
  • Beef carpaccio, with arugula salad, parmesan and truffle oil
  • Roasted bone marrow, herb bread crumbs and mushroom duxelles
  • Grilled rib-eye sliced with sunchoke puree and red onion marmalade
  • Homemade ravioli, braised short rib, English peas and glazed root vegetables
  • Whiskey cake with Makers Mark crème anglaise and bourbon toffee
As a member of the world-renowned Gibsons Restaurant Group, Hugo's is a first-class icon in steakhouse dining. Gibsons is the only restaurant group in the country to have its own USDA Prime Certification, meaning that Hugo's guarantees top-quality steaks.

The cost of the "Meat & Makers" dining package is $125 per person, and is the first in a series that will continue in March and April. Reservations for the "Meat & Makers" dining experience can be made at the SugarHouse website or by calling (215) 717-3900.
