SugarHouse Casino's June events

• Hot, Hot, Summer Sweepstakes — Beginning Friday, 1 June, at 6 a.m., all Rush Rewards members can begin earning entries for a chance to win Free Play. On Saturday, 30 June, from 3-9 p.m., 50 winners will be selected every hour to win up to $200 in Free Slot Play. The highest entry earner each hour will automatically be entered into the final drawing occurring at 10 p.m. where one lucky winner will be awarded $10,000 cash.


• $15,000 Monthly Jackpot Bonus — On Monday, 4 June, at 8 p.m., jackpot winners have the chance to win their share of $15,000 Free Slot Play and cash. Qualifying participants who hit a jackpot of $1,200 or more in May will be eligible to participate in this month’s jackpot drawing.


• $40,000 Summer Slot Tournament — On Thursdays in June from 5-8 p.m. Rush Rewards members can participate in the Summer Slot Tournament at the machines near Fishtown Hops. Each week, the top 50 scorers will earn various prizes, with the highest scorer winning $1,000 cash. Also, any member that plays all four weeks will be entered into a drawing to win a share of more than $10,000 in Free Play and cash.

• $100,000 Guaranteed SugarRush Challenge — The SugarHouse Casino Poker Room will host a multi-day No Limit Texas Hold’em poker tournament from 20-24 June. Day 1 flights (20-23 June) feature 25,000 starting stacks for $250 with two flights each day at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Players can opt to enter directly into Day 2 (24 June at noon) with a 100,000 chip stack for $1,100. • Daily High Hands — It’s non-stop action in the SugarHouse Casino Poker Room with a winner every 30 minutes during the designated time periods of the daily high hand promotion. Texas Hold’em games that contribute to the jackpot are eligible for this promotion that will award $200 or $300 for each high hand.


• Instant High Hand Progressive Jackpots — Every qualifying hand at a cash table in the Poker Room will instantly earn a progressive jackpot. All four-of-a-kind and straight flush hands will earn between $50 and $599, except the royal flush which will never pay less than $200 and increases until it is hit. This is a 24/7 promotion. In addition, all Instant High Hands hit between 2 a.m. and 3 p.m. every day will pay double the jackpot amount (except the royal flush).

• Fishtown Hops Outdoor Patio — Fishtown Hops’ beer garden has opened its patio doors for the outdoor season featuring an all-new menu that accompanies a selection of local brews and craft cocktails. The hours of operation are Wednesday and Thursday from 4-10 p.m., Fridays from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m., Saturdays from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. and Sundays from 2-10 p.m. Happy hour is from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.


• Quizzo — On Wednesdays from 7-10 p.m., guests can participate in a game of Quizzo to put their trivia skills to the test.


• Hugo’s Frog Bar & Chop House — On Fridays and Saturdays in June, guests will enjoy live piano music in the casino’s first-class steakhouse from 6-10 p.m.


• Buck-A-Shuck — On Thursdays, guests can enjoy $1 oysters.

• The B-52s — Known as “the world’s greatest party band,” The B-52s will bring their unforgettable dance-rock hits — such as “Rock Lobster” and “Love Shack” — to The Event Center at SugarHouse Casino on Friday, 1 June, at 9 p.m. Tickets cost $79 to $99 and can be purchased online.


• Vic DiBitetto — Vic DiBitetto will leave his audience gasping for air when his hilarious act fills The Event Center at SugarHouse Casino with laughter on Saturday, 2 June, at 9 p.m. DiBitetto is a national headliner selling out theaters across the country and an incredibly powerful and frenetic performer.


• Fishtown FestivALE Fireworks Display — On Saturday, 9 June, at 9 p.m., a fireworks display over the Delaware River follows the 2018 Fishtown FestivALE.


• Father’s Day Vietnamese Show — On Friday, 15 June, from 10:30 pm to 12:30 a.m. in The Event Center, there will be a Vietnamese show to celebrate Father’s Day. Tickets can be purchased online.


• FAVIA Balloon Glow Spectacular — Guests can enjoy the FAVIA Balloon Glow, a display of colorful hot air balloons in the SugarHouse parking lot, on Wednesday, 20 June, from 8-9 p.m.


• Red, White & Brew Fest — On Saturday, 30 June, at 5 p.m., guests can enjoy an evening on the waterfront with great food, drinks and live entertainment complete with a spectacular fireworks display at 9:30 p.m.


• Fishtown Hops — Dance to live new music and classics by local bands and DJs from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays at Fishtown Hops:
