SugarHouse Casino wins multiple dining and entertainment awards18 April 2016(PRESS RELEASE) -- SugarHouse Casino received multiple honors in Casino Player magazine's annual Best of Dining & Entertainment awards. For the second straight year, The Refinery restaurant was voted number one in "Best Outdoor Dining," while Lucky Red earned back-to-back wins in the "Best Sports Bar" category. The Refinery also earned the top spot for "Best View." Casino Player readers took part in a poll, focused on restaurants, live music, bars and entertainment, which awarded SugarHouse Casino the three honors. "SugarHouse is always striving to make sure our guests enjoy their visits. We are thrilled to know that the readers of Casino Player see our continuous efforts and that we consistently receive high rankings," said Wendy Hamilton, general manager of SugarHouse Casino. In 2015, Casino Player readers also honored SugarHouse as the "Casino Where You Feel Luckiest" and "Casino with the Best Hosts" in the publication's Best of Gaming awards. The casino has also received a number of workplace awards, including "Best Place to Work" in the Philadelphia Business Journal and "Top Workplace" by Philly.com. SugarHouse Team Members have voted for both distinctions each of the past five years. Next year, magazine readers will have seven new SugarHouse food and beverage outlets to vote for as the casino adds to its award-winning lineup. Hugo's Frog Bar & Chop House by Gibsons Restaurant Group, the casino's high-end steakhouse, leads the way in amenities as SugarHouse continues its expansion rollout. |
