SugarHouse Casino welcomes The B-52s27 March 2018(PRESS RELEASE) -- Known as "the world's greatest party band," The B-52s will bring their unforgettable dance-rock hits — such as "Rock Lobster" and "Love Shack" — to the SugarHouse Casino Event Center on Friday, 1 June at 9 p.m. Show tickets go on sale beginning Friday, 30 March and cost from $79 to $99. During the band's 40-plus years in the industry, The B-52s have sold more than 20 million albums and have performed for sold-out crowds worldwide. From their classic rock songs, which include "Dance This Mess Around," "Private Idaho" and "Roam," to the 2008 pop CD Funplex, The B-52s are one of rock music's most beloved and enduring bands. "We are ecstatic for The B-52s to turn The Event Center into party central," said Wendy Hamilton, general manager of SugarHouse Casino. "Their upbeat and infectious music will bring everyone to their feet!" Tickets for The B-52s' show and for all SugarHouse performances, including Buddy Guy (20 April), Night Ranger (27 April), Cheech and Chong (5 May), Vic DiBitetto (2 June) and Supertramp's Roger Hodgson (13 July), can be purchased on the SugarHouse Casino headliner events page. In addition to live performances and concerts, the SugarHouse Casino Event Center can be reserved for a variety of occasions, including weddings, corporate receptions, seminars, trade shows and more. The space features floor-to-ceiling windows and panoramic views of the Delaware River waterfront and the Ben Franklin Bridge. Parking is always free. |
