SugarHouse Casino hosting Wing Bowl 24 qualifying round13 January 2016(PRESS RELEASE) -- SugarHouse Casino invites local competitive eaters to The Refinery restaurant and bar for their chance to compete for a spot at SportsRadio 94WIP's Wing Bowl 24. The participant who eats the most wings in 10 minutes at the SugarHouse Wing-Off wins a $500 cash prize and earns a chance to compete in Wing Bowl 24. Registration begins at 6 p.m. in The Refinery, with the competition kicking off at 8 p.m. This is SugarHouse's sixth consecutive year sponsoring Philly's famous eating competition. The casino held a kick-off event in late November, and will host a local Battle of the Bands on Jan. 28 for musicians looking to be the headlining act at Wing Bowl 24. This year's Wing Bowl will be held on the morning of Friday, Feb. 5, with a live broadcast and after-party at SugarHouse in the afternoon. |
