SugarHouse Casino expansion signed off on

PHILADELPHIA -- Yesterday SugarHouse Casino finally had its $164 million expansion approved, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.

There had been delays and challenges to reach this point with zoning issues and economic challenges delaying the construction, the report said.

The casino will be expanded to 70 percent increase in size with an additional 289 slots and more parking, the Philadelphia Inquirer said.
