SugarHouse Casino earns recognition as 'Casino Where You Feel Luckiest'

(PRESS RELEASE) -- In the annual Best of Gaming awards, SugarHouse Casino was voted number one in the “Casino Where You Feel Luckiest” and “Best Hosts” categories by the readers of Casino Player magazine.

Casino Player received votes from each state to determine the Best of Gaming winners in 23 categories. These categories range from the “Best Overall Casino” and best in individual games to best amenities and hotels. The top three casinos are named in each category.

“Philly loves a winner and we love winning! SugarHouse is honored to be named the ‘Casino Where You Feel Luckiest,’” said Wendy Hamilton, general manager of SugarHouse Casino. “As Philly’s casino, we always want our guests to enjoy their visits to SugarHouse and are delighted that the readers of Casino Player rate their experiences so highly. We take pride in our casino, our guests and our employees, and we’re glad that it shows.”

With a total of nine wins in 2015, SugarHouse was also recognized in the “Best Place To Play” categories for Roulette, Craps and Blackjack, as well as “Best Promotions” and “Best Comps.”

SugarHouse has also received some of the industry’s top honors including, “Best Slot Club,” “Best Video Poker” and “Best Video Slots” from Casino Journal; “Top Casino” in the Philadelphia Business Journal; and “Best View,” “Best Outdoor Dining” and “Best Sports Bar” in Casino Player’s Best of Dining and Entertainment Awards.

Additionally, SugarHouse has won a number of workplace awards such as “Best Places to Work” in the Philadelphia Business Journal for five years in a row, and “Top Workplaces” by Philly.com for four consecutive years.
