SugarHouse Casino announces June events and promotions2 June 2017(PRESS RELEASE) -- June is jam-packed with all-new SugarHouse promotions and entertainment, and features the opening of a brand-new beer garden, Fishtown Hops. The Event Center stage includes performances by The Mavericks on Saturday, 10 June and Creedence Clearwater Revisited on Friday, 30 June. Food & Beverage Fishtown Hops — A uniquely fashioned urban beer garden, Fishtown Hops, opens on the riverwalk directly behind SugarHouse Casino on Thursday, 22 June at 4 p.m. Fishtown Hops will offer free parking and provide an outdoor waterfront sanctuary with breathtaking views of the Ben Franklin Bridge. A selection of local brews and craft cocktails will be available, along with a brand-new menu specifically created for the beer garden. Hours of operation are Wednesday and Thursday from 4-10 p.m., Fridays from 4 p.m.-2 a.m., Saturdays from noon-2 a.m. and Sundays from noon-8 p.m. throughout the summer. Seating accommodates approximately 150 guests, with no reservations required. Happy hours with half-price pitchers occur Wednesday-Saturday from 5-7 p.m. Live music at Fishtown Hops, including bands and DJs, along with a rotating roster of the city's popular food trucks will be scheduled Thursday through Sunday weekly Hugo's Frog Bar & Chop House Father's Day Specials — Treat dad to a full course meal made just for him (and the whole family). Featuring a choice of W.R.'s Chicago cut, the filet mignon or the king crab stuffed flounder, Hugo's specially created Father's Day menu is the best way to celebrate dad this year. The Father's Day three-course menu costs $70 per person and includes:
$15,000 Monthly Jackpot Bonus — On Thursday, 1 June at 8 p.m., jackpot winners have the chance to win their share of $15,000 Free Play and cash. Day 1 (21-24 June) features 25,000 starting stacks for $250 with two starting flights each day at noon and 7 p.m. Players can opt to enter directly into Day 2 (25 June) with a 100,000 chip stack for $1,100. Events & Entertainment The Mavericks — Grammy award-winning artists The Mavericks will take The Event Center stage at SugarHouse Casino on Saturday, 10 June, at 9 p.m., performing some of their greatest hits and songs from their upcoming LP, "Brand New Day." Tickets for the performance cost $49-$59 and can be purchased online at the SugarHouse Casino Event Center page. Creedence Clearwater Revisited — Creedence Clearwater Revisited, featuring two founding members of Creedence Clearwater Revival, will perform at SugarHouse Casino on Friday, 30 June at 9 p.m. Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Stu Cook and Doug "Cosmo" Clifford have combined with three other rockers to perform the timeless classics of CCR. Tickets for the performance cost $49-$69 and can be purchased online at the SugarHouse Casino Event Center page. "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" Casting Call — On Wednesday, 7 June, fans of one of America's favorite game shows and casino guests can audition for a chance to become a contestant on "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire." Auditions will take place in The Event Center from 7-10 a.m. and again from 5-7 p.m. Father's Day Vietnamese Show — The Father's Day Vietnamese show will take place on Saturday, 17 June from 10:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m. in The Event Center. Doors open at 9:30 p.m. Live Music Celebrate the weekend by putting on your dancing shoes and partying with all of your favorite cover bands. Enjoy live entertainment, food and drinks in The Refinery from 9 p.m.-2 a.m.
