Stellar Gospel Music Awards returns to The Orleans

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The 34th Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards returns to Orleans Arena at The Orleans Hotel and Casino on 27-29 March, recognizing the accomplishments of gospel music icons and individuals who’ve been instrumental in advocating for gospel music.

This year’s show will once again be hosted by the legendary 12-time Grammy Award-winning and multiple Stellar Award-winning gospel singer Kirk Franklin.

Confirmed performers for this year’s awards ceremony include Kelly Price, Regina Belle, Erica Campbell, Brian Courtney Wilson, Charles Jenkins, Jekalyn Carr, Jonathan McReynolds, Kelontae Gavin, Koryn Hawthorne, Maranda Curtis, Todd Dulaney, Phil Thompson and more.

Presenters include Anthony Brown, Yolanda Adams, Dr. Bobby Jones, DeVon Franklin, Janice Gaines, Shirley Caesar, VaShawn Mitchell and JJ Hairston.

The Stellar Gospel Music Awards schedule is as follows (please note that some events will take place at Orleans Showroom):
  • Wednesday, March 27: Independent Artist Showcase at 6 p.m. at Orleans Showroom.
  • Thursday, March 28: Stellar Gospel Music Awards Pre-Show at 7 p.m. at Orleans Showroom (SOLD OUT).
  • Friday, March 29; Stellar Gospel Music Awards Announcer’s Showcase at 10 a.m. at Orleans Showroom; Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards at 6 p.m. at Orleans Arena.

Tickets for the Independent Artist Showcase are $25 each, or you can buy one get one free by using the code TMN24. The buy-one-get-one free promotion is also applicable for the Stellar Gospel Announcer’s Showcase, where tickets are $35 each. Tickets for the 34th Annual Stellar Live Taping start at $50 plus fees and can be purchased by calling Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000; online at Ticketmaster.com; or in-person at gift shops inside The Orleans, Suncoast, Gold Coast and Sam’s Town. Tickets may also be purchased the day of the show (depending upon availability) at the venue box office.
