State gaming board moves to revoke Foxwoods license, rejecting request for more time30 April 2010HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania -- The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board yesterday voted against a time limit extension to furnish new plans for Foxwoods casino, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. Foxwoods could, however, see off the revocation of the Philadelphia Entertainment and Development Partners' (PEDP) gaming license by bringing agreeable terms to the table, the report said. If the Foxwoods license is revoked there are a number of other companies waiting in the wings hoping to partner with the PEDP, the Inquirer reported. |
