Star City bring on the planes6 August 2010SYDNEY, Australia -- Star City owners Tabcorp Holdings are acquiring two planes in a bid to entice high rollers back to their casino, Bloomberg reported. Tabcorp plan to spend $860 million (Australian dollars) improving the Star City Casino, which will include "new luxury suites and private gambling rooms", according to the Bloomberg report. Star City is perceived as not having met its full potential in attracting high rollers and the addition of private planes that can fly non-stop to Asia should help correct this, Bloomberg said. |
