St. Louis Casinos Post Mixed Results

MISSOURI – As reported by BizJournals: "The five St. Louis area casinos posted mixed results in June, the Missouri Gaming Commission and Illinois Gaming Board reported Monday.

"Harrah's St. Louis Casino and Hotel in Maryland Heights posted a 13 percent increase in revenue during the month to $24.56 million.

"…Argosy Gaming's Alton Belle Casino in Alton posted a 7.4 percent jump in revenue to just over $9 million.

"…Ameristar Casino St. Charles boarded 5 percent fewer patrons at 794,250 from 839,734 in June 2004, while its revenue increased 4 percent in the month to nearly $24.5 million.

"The Casino Queen in East St. Louis saw a 2.2 percent drop in revenue to $13.2 million.

"…Finally, the President Casino brought in $5.3 million in revenue, down 11 percent from $5.9 million in June 2004…"
