Sports leagues win first round in NJ sports betting court battle

NEW JERSEY -- New Jersey's battle over sports betting has reached court with the first round going to the NFL, NCAA and other sports leagues who oppose it, New Jersey.com reported.

A judge granted an injunction which prevents New Jersey offering sports betting, the report explained.

The state will very likely appeal this decision, according to the New Jersey.com report.
