South Point Casino reveals February promotions

(PRESS RELEASE) -- South Point Hotel Casino and Spa has added a host of new offers for the month of February, including giveaways and double points on video poker.

$600,000 Crazy Cupid's Money Madness
Beginning Wednesday, 1 February at 3 a.m., all South Point Casino Club players have the opportunity to win a super progressive bonus while playing their favorite slot machines. The floor-wide super progressive bonus will begin at $10,000 and continue to grow until one lucky South Point Casino Slot Club Card carrier is chosen at random to win the entire Super Progressive Cash Bonus. The Super Progressive Cash Bonus will hit before it reaches $25,000, and when it does, any active Casino Club player will win $25 in free play.

Once the bonus is hit, the progressive bonus will reset at $10,000. There will also be a free play progressive bonus that will start at $1,000 and must hit by $2,500. This bonus will hit on average three times per day and will reset at $1,000. Slot machine players have the opportunity to win either bonus at any time just for being active players on the casino floor. There are no specific hand or reel combinations necessary to win the progressive bonus. All free play is valid for seven days.

Double Points on Video Poker – Presidents Day, Monday, 20 February
South Point Club members who play video poker machines will receive double the points on Presidents Day. Players who earn 1,000 base points in video poker play will earn $6.

Five Times the Points on Reel Machines – Presidents Day, Monday, 20 February
South Point Club members will earn five times the points on slots and video reel machines on Presidents Day. Players who receive 1,000 base points in reel play will receive $15.

The Big Game Watch Parties – Sunday, 5 February
The South Point Showroom, Exhibit Hall and Grand Ballroom will host watch parties for the Big Game on Sunday, 5 February with doors opening at 10:30 a.m. Football fanatics can visit on-site wagering stations and will be treated to a variety of food and drink specials, including $25 Buckets of six with a choice of Budweiser and Bud Light in Aluminum Bottles, Corona and Michelob Ultra in glass bottles and $5 glasses of SKYY Vodka, Captain Morgan, Crown Royal and Don Julio. Food specials include Hot Dog ($1); Pizza, cheese or pepperoni ($3); Nachos, topped with cheese, refried beans, black olives and pulled pork ($4); Submarine Sandwich, ham or turkey and Swiss cheese ($5); Hoagie Roll, Italian sausage, served with peppers and onions and topped with marinara sauce ($5); and Chicken Fingers, served with ranch and bleu cheese dressing ($5). For the quickest and easiest way to place bets, guests can log onto the Nevada Sports Books app from anywhere in the casino. The Nevada Sports Book app features lines set by South Point's Sports Book and offers consumers the ability to deposit money or collect winnings from South Point. All viewing parties are free and open to guests 21 and older.

The Big Game Pro Football Giveaway – Sunday, 5 February
The South Point Poker Room hosts multiple Professional Football Giveaways for football fans during the Big Game on Sunday, 5 February. Players have the opportunity to participate in jersey giveaways, a $5,000 Big Game Square Giveaway and $100 random seat drawings every hour from 2 to 7 p.m. Poker players will also enjoy complimentary hot dogs during The Big Game. Winners over $200 must present a valid form of ID.

Reverse Teaser Parlay Card
The Reverse Teaser card offers a big payout of $2,000 for 1 if a player makes seven out of seven correct picks. With a minimum bet of $2, maximum $50, this card delivers a fun side bet while in the sports book. Players must pick a minimum of three-teams to play and winnings are based on the card's spreads.

No-Limit Texas Hold'em Daily BOUNTY Tournament
South Point Casino hosts daily No-Limit Texas Hold'em BOUNTY tournaments every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 10 a.m., 2 and 7 p.m.; and every Wednesday and Sunday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Casino players have the opportunity to participate in each BOUNTY tournament for a $60 buy-in and includes $4,500 in tournament chips. No-Limit Texas Hold'em DEEP-STACK Tournament
South Point Casino features a No-Limit Texas Hold'em DEEP-STACK tournament every Wednesday and Sunday at 6 p.m. The tournament's $100 buy-in includes $7,500 in tournament chips. South Point Casino Club Card players age 50 and older have the opportunity to participate in a Seniors 50+ Slot Tournament every Monday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Casino Card holders will receive a free tournament entry when they swipe their Club Card at any Club kiosk. Participants may receive additional entries into the slot tournament for every 250 points earned while playing South Point Casino slots, video poker or video reel machines.
