South Korea urged to fight illegal online gambling13 April 2011SOUTH KOREA -- South Korea has attempted to crack down on illegal online gambling five times in recent years by parliamentary means, the Joonang Daily reported. None of the bills have successfully made it through the National Assembly, the report said. Yesterday two organizations concerned with gambling addiction prevention instigated a press conference and called for the South Korean government to introduce legislation that would ban online gambling, Joonang Daily said.
