South Korea: Popstar accused of defaulting on gambling debt18 October 2010SOUTH KOREA -- A South Korean pop star known as "Rain" is suspected of owing a $150,000 gambling debt, The Korea Herald reported. The debt is believed to be owed to a Korean-American called Andrew Kim who lent Rain the money in June 2007, the report explained. Rain has failed to pay it back and his reputation could be in tatters, if it's perceived that he's an irresponsible and habitual gambler, The Korea Herald report added. |
