South Korea: Gambling monks cause outcry11 May 2012SOUTH KOREA -- A scandal has broken out in South Korea after some monks were caught on camera gambling, the BBC reported. The monks were recorded playing poker, drink and smoking at a hotel, the report said. The monks belong to the repected Jogye order, whose leader has offered to repent on their behalf by resigning, the BBC said. |
