South Korea: Crackdown on government employees casino splurges

SOUTH KOREA -- Some civil servants in South Korea are facing a government crackdown on their gambling habits, according to the Joonang Daily.

The allegations investigated include "taking bribes and gambling during working hours", the report quoted.

High level civil servants may have been gambling with bribes, and the Board of Audit and Inspection are trying to figure out where the exactly the gambled money came from, Joonang Daily said.
