South Carolina bingo plans clear hurdle

SOUTH CAROLINA -- As reported by South Carolina Now: "Carolina Entertainment Complex is one step closer to adding an attraction to its site in Marion County.

"A Marion County Council committee has voted to move forward with the complex's proposed Indian gaming facility.

"The council committee, which handles county planning, zoning and land uses issues, approved the request at a July 3 meeting. Also present at the meeting were partners of Carolina Entertainment Complex and others involved in the development of the property..."
