South Australia Reduce Pokies

AUSTRALIA – As reported by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation: "More than 2,000 poker machines will be switched off in South Australia from midnight ACST as part of the State Government's effort to reduce problem gambling.

"The machines are being decommissioned at 281 pubs, including 12 venues that are removing all of their pokies.

"Gambling Minister Michael Wright says South Australia has set an example to the rest of Australia about addressing problem gambling…"
