SLS Las Vegas celebrates Valentine's Day6 February 2019(PRESS RELEASE) -- Stay smitten this Valentine’s Day at SLS Las Vegas Hotel & Casino with a sweet selection of dining specials at several of the resort’s award-winning restaurants including Bazaar Meat by José Andrés and Katsuya. Bazaar Meat by José Andrés Sweethearts may dine on an array of tantalizing options offered on the Valentine’s Day tasting menu at Bazaar Meat by José Andrés. Beginning courses include the Smoke & Ice Fresh Oysters with Applewood-smoked apple mignonette, Ferran Andrià Olives served in modern and traditional styles and Rio Frio Caviar Airbread with salt cod espuma and tomato jam. Next, move on to savory Croquetas de Pollo (chicken- béchamel fritters), Classic Tartare with Mindful Meats Beef Sirloin, Savora mustard, egg yolk, HP sauce and anchovy Parker House Rolls, Beet and Citrus Tartare with hearts of palm, Cecina and goat cheese, and Uni Bread with Iberico lardo and Hokkaido uni on toasted Pan Cristal. Enjoy a sampling of main dishes including Saddle of Suckling Lamb with Aji Amarillo and ensalada mixta and Rossejat Paella-style pasta with Iberico pork, carabineros red shrimp and aioli along with sides like Buttered Potato Purée and Grilled Asparagus with Romesco Sauce. Finish by indulging in an assortment of desserts including cream puffs, assorted tarts and little cakes. The Valentine’s Day tasting menu is $135 per person, $60 additional with wine pairing. Bazaar Meat will be open from 5:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Thursday, 14 February. Katsuya Lovers can begin their romantic evening by toasting with a complimentary glass of Dom Perignon and a sampling of Katsuya’s favorite dishes including creamy rock shrimp, crispy Brussels sprouts, crispy rice with spicy tuna, spicy albacore sashimi with crispy onion, yellowtail sashimi with jalapeno and the Katsuya Roll. For the main course, the menu includes a delicious surf and turf with black angus filet mignon and a butter-poached lobster with truffle yuzu butter. The decadent dining experience concludes with mouth-watering chocolate lava cake, fluffy cheesecake and sorbet. The Valentine’s Day menu at Katsuya is priced at just $150 per couple. Katsuya will be open from 5 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, 14 February. |
