Slot revenue drops in May at Foxwoods Resort Casino

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Foxwoods Resort Casino is reporting slot revenue of $29.7 million for the month of May 2024. This results in a $7.6 million direct payment to the State of Connecticut in accordance with the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation’s long-standing slot revenue contribution agreement. Since 1993, the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation has directly deposited over $4.6 billion of Foxwoods’ slot revenue into the state’s budget fund.

In May, Foxwoods rolled out several promotions for guests including its May Hotel Sale, giving guests the chance to plan their getaway to Foxwoods to receive up to 30% off their stays; 3X Rewards Points + 3X Tier Credits, and 4X Tier Credits promotions let guests tier up faster than ever while playing their favorite slots or table games. Performances that took place at Foxwoods in May include CES MMA 77, comedians Brad Williams, Preacher Lawson, and Deray Davis, country music star Parker McCollum, heavy metal band Mudvayne, R&B legends Brian McKnight, Keith Sweat, Keyshia Cole, Bobby V and Nivea, new wave band Berlin, and magic duo Penn & Teller.

To kick off Pride Month celebrations at Foxwoods’, the resort hosted a free Drag Party at Centrale on 1 June. Guests enjoyed a captivating drag show starring local queens Mia E. Z’lay, Jolina Jasmine, Kenya Mone Heart, and Natalia Fierce for a night of electrifying drag performances, drink specials, and beats by DJ U.F.Oso. Pride Month at Foxwoods continues with An Evening with the Original Fab Five: 20 Years Later June 22 and a Drag Brunch 23 June featuring the Original Fab Five of Queer Eye – Ted Allen, Kyan Douglas, Thom Filicia, Carson Kressley and Jai Rodriguez and RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 11 stars Shuga Cain and Ariel Versace.

Earlier this month, the resort casino announced the return of Wave Foxwoods Day Party, every Sunday in July and August guests can elevate their summer Sundays with lavish amenities, bottle service, and music from the hottest DJ’s and musical acts. Celebrate a Sunday at Foxwoods with the outlaws of emo, Boys Like Girls, on 14 July - or spend the day at Maxin’ and Relaxin’ when WAVE goes old school on 11 August.

Guests can tier up faster than ever while playing their favorite slots or table games with promotions including 4X Rewards Points on 19 June and 3x Tier Credits on 30 June. Performances that took place at the resort casino earlier this month included country superstar Miranda Lambert, and Scott Keo: A Tribute to Michael Buble.

Looking ahead, Foxwoods will continue to roll out events and promotions you can’t find anywhere else with a fan-favorite summer celebration, Cocktail Carnival making its way back to Foxwoods, serving up carnival-inspired cocktails, carnival games, a selfie station, and interactive experiences for guests 21+ on 31 August.

Performances taking place at Foxwoods for the remainder of June include Michael Blackson on 21 June, An Evening with the Original Fab Five: 20 Years Later on 22 June, Nikki Glaser on 22 June and 23 June, Nurse Blake on 28 June, Donny Osmond on 29 June, and The Clairvoyants on 29 June.
