Slight decrease in slot machine revenue during November reported by Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board6 December 2013HARRISBURG, Pennyslvania -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board posted on its web site today the monthly report for total revenue generated from the play of slot machines at casinos during November. According to the report, gross revenue from slot machines at the 12 casinos fell 1.3% in November of this year to $189,970,652 compared to the $192,512,491 in gross revenue generated in November 2012. Tax revenue in November of this year was $101,508,310. In a comparison of just the 11 casinos operating in November 2013 that were also open for the full month of November 2012, revenue fell by 2.2%. The average number of slot machines operating throughout Pennsylvania, at the 12 casinos, was 26,581 in November 2013 compared to 26,356 at the 11 casinos in November 2012.
