Skycity License Under Threat

AUSTRALIA – As reported by the Australia Advertiser: "Skycity Casino yesterday admitted it had detected four cases of suspected illegal drug use during the past two years, as authorities warned its licence was under threat over its failure to act on one of them.

"The casino said three of the incidents were reported to police, but the fourth – at a Port Adelaide Football Club function in May, 2003 – was not.

"…[The] Independent Gambling Authority, described SkyCity's behaviour as 'a very serious matter'…"
