SIS signs exclusive partnership with Irish Greyhound Derby

22 May 2018

(PRESS RELEASE) -- SIS (Sports Information Services), the leading multi-channel supplier, has agreed an exclusive deal to provide retail and online operators with live pictures and data for the 2018 Irish Greyhound Derby.

The content provided will feature all races from Shelbourne Park, from the first-round heats beginning Thursday 16 August, through to the final on Saturday 22 September.

SIS will provide live pictures and pre-race data, including runners, recent form and race meetings, as well as race day data, including betting shows, starting prices and race results.

Gordon Bissett, Greyhound Operations Manager at SIS, said, “We are delighted to have partnered with the Irish Greyhound Board. The Irish Greyhound Derby is the premier competition in the Irish greyhound calendar and will see the fastest greyhounds competing for the ultimate prize.

“The competition will provide operators with competitive racing and should deliver strong margins for them. It is a great complementary product to our British and Irish Greyhound Service as it provides numerous, simple and speedy betting opportunities.”

Joe Lewins, Director of Tote and Wagering at the Irish Greyhound Board, said, “SIS have been a key partner of the IGB for a number of years and we are pleased to be partnering with them again on the Irish Greyhound Derby.

“Their expertise and operator network will ensure our premium competition is seen by the widest audience in the U.K., Ireland and the rest of the world.”

The Irish Greyhound Derby agreement adds to SIS’ existing market leading greyhound content, which provide operators with 43 British and Irish fixtures a week, with the fixtures taking place at key times during the afternoon and evening.
