Singapore's first casino resort to open January 20

SINGAPORE -- Singapore's first casino complex Resorts World Sentosa will open on January 20, 2010, according to the Agence France Presse.

This will be phase one of the complex, which includes the opening of Festive Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel Singapore, Crockfords Tower and Hotel Michael, Agence France Presse reported.

Collectively these hotels offer 1,350 rooms and 10 restaurants, the report stated.

The company will announce the casino opening when it "receives notice of its licence", a statement in the Agence France Presse report said.
