Singaporeans Split Over Casino Idea

SINGAPORE – As reported by UPI: "Singaporeans are split over the idea of allowing a casino to be opened in the island state even with restricted entry, according to a recent survey.

"In the survey, commissioned by NewsRadio 93.8 and MediaCorp's Today newspaper, 36 percent of Singaporeans said the government should not go ahead with a plan to permit casino gambling, even with measures to minimize the social risk, while 39 percent said it was okay and 20 percent had no opinion…"
