Singapore Tourism Group Backs Casino Plan

SINGAPORE – As reported by the Associated Press: " Singapore's plan to build a controversial casino received backing Wednesday from a panel advising the city-state's tourism board.

"In July, officials revealed plans to build a 700 million Singapore dollar (US$591 million; euro 328 million) theme park with a casino on Singapore's resort island of Sentosa.
