Singapore Resorts Request Delayed

SINGAPORE – As reported by the ChannelNewsAsia: "There could be a further delay in the launch of the tender for Singapore's two integrated resorts.

"In a statement on Thursday, Singapore Tourism Board said it was trying to launch the request for proposals within this quarter but that would not come earlier than the last week of September.

"It has been some four months since the government announced the shortlist of companies invited to take part in the second phase of the bidding process for the integrated resort project.

"The STB had originally planned to launch the request for proposals by the second quarter of this year.

"But two months ago, it pushed back the deadline by three months.

"Now it looks like there could be a further delay…"
