Singapore: market set to be region's No 2

SINGAPORE -- Singapore will rise to become the region's second-largest casino market, according to Today Online.

A PricewaterhouseCoopers report made the prediction that Singapore will exceed Australia and South Korea for revenue next year, the Today Online report said.

Estimates put Singapore's casino market at US$6.5 billion by next year, eventually surpassing the Las Vegas strip by 2012, Today Online reported.
