Singapore enters gaming market

SINGAPORE -- The partial opening of Singapore's first casino takes place today, according to a report in The Street.

Resorts World Sentosa unveils 1,340 rooms, in advance of Las Vegas Sands Marina Bay Sands which will open in May, The Street said.

The major developments follow Singapore lifting its casino ban back in April 2005.
