Singapore Casino Bill Open for Public Discussion

SINGAPORE – As reported by the Channel News Asia: "A Casino Control Bill released on Monday for public discussion is a comprehensive one.

"However those who have been following the debate closely since last year warned it my not fully address some social implications arising from the liberalisation of casino gaming.

"The social cost of casino gaming has sparked public forums, community dialogues and parliamentary discussion.

"So, it came as no surprise many checked out the Casino Control Bill when it went online.

"…Some are heartened to see measures like credit extension limits and exclusion orders to keep out those who cannot afford to gamble or people who just cannot stop…"
