Singapore: Bookmaker jailed8 October 2010SINGAPORE -- An Indonesian man has been given a two week jail sentence for "acting as a bookmaker" in Singapore, the Strait Times reported. Tjong Loi Sin, 29, was also fined $20,000 for the crime, the report said. The offence took place at Resorts World Sentosa, where he was paid $60 per day to work for a man called Asun, The Strait Times said. |
