Singapore: 9 arrests in illegal gambling syndicate raid6 June 2011SINGAPORE -- Nine people have been arrested on suspicion of operating a gambling syndicate, Asia One News reported. The six men and three women are alleged to have taken bets on horse races, the report said. Evidence was taken during the raid on June 5th including cell phones, computers and cash, Asia One News said. |
