Silverton Casino announces return of Chef Ashley Archer as Director of Culinary Operations5 October 2023(PRESS RELEASE) -- Silverton Casino Hotel is thrilled to announce the return of Chef Ashley Archer as Director of Culinary Operations. With an extensive background in food service and a passion for culinary excellence, Archer brings a new perspective and dynamic leadership to the Silverton team. In his new role, Archer will oversee all aspects of culinary development, menu creation and kitchen operations. His proven track record of elevating dining experiences and his commitment to pushing the boundaries of taste and presentation align perfectly with Silverton Casino Lodge's mission to deliver exceptional culinary experiences to its valued guests. "Ashley Archer's appointment as the Director of Culinary Operations is a significant milestone for Silverton Casino Lodge," Silverton President Rob Kunkle said. "His innovative approach to cooking and his ability to fuse diverse culinary traditions will undoubtedly enrich our offerings and delight our customers. We are excited to welcome him aboard and look forward to the inspiring creations he will bring to our menus." This has been a “renaissance” year for Silverton Casino, with the recent completion of a $40 million renovation of its hotel product. In addition, upgrades are being made to the exterior, the pool deck and the casino. “Ashley’s appointment is well timed as we continue to upgrade our restaurant menus and spaces,” Kunkle said. Archer’s culinary journey includes extensive kitchen experiences focusing on a solid culinary foundation, quality ingredients and attention to detail. This includes a six-year stint with Silverton Casino as Executive Chef. Most recently, he served as Director of Culinary Operations at Foxwoods Hotel Resort in Connecticut. "I am honored to come home to my Silverton family and contribute to its legacy of culinary excellence," Archer said. "I am excited to collaborate with the talented team and further elevate our offerings to provide memorable dining experiences for our guests." As Director of Culinary Operations, Archer will work closely with the award-winning room chefs at each restaurant venue, bringing his unique perspective to shape Silverton Casino’s culinary direction. In 2023, Las Vegas Weekly named Twin Creeks Steakhouse as “best steakhouse” in Las Vegas. Silverton’s restaurant venues also received several honors in the Review-Journal’s “Best of Las Vegas” awards, including Best Mexican Restaurant at Mi Casa Grill Cantina, Best Sushi at Su Casa sushi bar and Best Chinese at WuHu Noodle. |
