Shuffle Master backs away from Ongame deal

27 June 2012

LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- Shuffle Master has withdrawn from its deal to buy Ongame Network Ltd, Reuters reported.

The deal with Bwin.party Digital Entertainment was dropped by Shuffle Master because of fears over the economic situation currently rocking Europe, the report explained.

Shuffle Master has been trying to push into the online gambling market and withdrawing from this deal represents a setback to that goal, Reuters reported.
