Show Over For Mauled Tiger Pair

LAS VEGAS – As reported by the BBC: ``A marquee that was home to illusionists Siegfried and Roy's Las Vegas show is being taken down six months after the spectacle was closed by a tiger attack.

``Roy Horn and Siegfried Fischbacher appeared at the MGM Mirage hotel for 13 years, but cancelled the show after Horn was mauled by a Bengal tiger.

``The incident happened during a live stage performance in October.

``Horn suffered a stroke following the attack but is now walking with aid and has recovered his speech.

``…Until the show's cancellation, the German-born duo drew 400,000 audience members a year to the theatre, becoming one of the most successful acts in the town…"
