Sheffield may be out of luck

SHEFFIELD, England – As reported by Blackpool Today: "A leading front-runner in the race to land the UK's only super-casino has fallen at the final hurdle, according to claims today.

"Reports from Yorkshire say Sheffield, one of seven places shortlisted to host the country's pilot casino, has had its bid eclipsed by Blackpool and the Millennium Dome in London.

"…The Casino Advisory Panel is due to announce its preferred venue for the casino, along with 16 smaller casinos, on January 30…"
