Sergeant Thanks Foxwoods' Staff

CONNECTICUT – As reported by the Connecticut Day: "Staff Sgt. David John Walsh, on leave from duty in Iraq, visited Foxwoods Resort Casino last week to thank employees for sending care packages to soldiers.

"Employees had gathered and sent 15 cases of items to Walsh, who organizes outreach programs.

"…Walsh had contacted JoAnne Tew, brand marketing manager, several months ago to ask for personal care items, like shampoo and shaving supplies, for soldiers.

"…Foxwoods employees donated more than a ton of books to soldiers last winter and have also packaged and sent school supplies for Iraqi children."
