Seneca Casino's Alcohol Permits Run Out

NEW YORK – As reported by the Buffalo News: "The Seneca Nation's new 71 million dollar casino in western New York is no longer licensed to sell or serve alcohol.

"The Seneca Allegany Casino in Salamanca obtained a series of one-day permits to sell alcohol after it opened May 1st, but the state says the last one ran out May 28th.

"Thomas McKeon, counsel with the State Liquor Authority, tells The Buffalo News the casino's application for a liquor license is still pending, and he could not predict how long it would take the authority to complete its examination and decide…"
