Seminole Tribal Council reaffirms commitment to management teams

14 July 2011

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (PRESS RELEASE) -- The newly-elected Tribal Council of the Seminole Tribe of Florida announced today its continued support and confidence in the senior management of Seminole Gaming, Seminole HR Holdings, LLC and Seminole Hard Rock Entertainment, Inc., the parent company of Hard Rock International. The Tribal Council further confirmed its continued support of the existing operating agreements for the companies as well as certain equity interests of senior management. The Tribal Council is the governing body of the Seminole Tribe and the only entity authorized to speak for and legally bind the Seminole Tribe.

Senior management includes James F. Allen, Brad Buchanan and Hamish Dodds. Allen is Chairman, President & CEO of Seminole HR Holdings, LLC, Seminole Hard Rock Entertainment, Inc. (the parent company of the Hard Rock International business), and CEO of Seminole Gaming. Brad Buchanan is Executive Vice President & CFO of Seminole HR Holdings, LLC and Seminole Hard Rock Entertainment, Inc., and Executive Vice President & CFO of Seminole Gaming. Hamish Dodds is President & CEO of Hard Rock Cafe International (USA), Inc.

The Tribal Council acknowledged the tremendous success of its gaming operations and Hard Rock International under the leadership of James F. Allen and his senior management team. Seminole Gaming has posted a 463 percent increase in revenue and a 275 percent increase in EBIDA since Allen and his team took over management in late 2001.

Since the development of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa in 2004, Hard Rock International has grown in excess of 69 percent in Revenue and EBIDA. This growth is attributed to the Tribe's ownership and the success of the management team led by Hamish Dodds.

In less than a decade, the Seminole Tribe has become an international force in gaming, entertainment, restaurants and lodging, which has created financial stability for members of the Tribe and allowed it to preserve its legendary culture and history.
