Seminole Hard Rock Tampa to open $30 million smoke-free experience6 November 2026(PRESS RELEASE) -- Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa announced the grand opening of The Breeze: A Smoke-Free Experience By Hard Rock. The celebration will take place from 19-22 November, featuring a lineup of special events, promotions, menu specials and surprise entertainment. “The Breeze Grand Opening Weekend marks a defining moment for our resort, expanding the way guests can experience Seminole Hard Rock Tampa with greater choice and comfort,” said Travis Lunn, President of Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa. “This pivotal investment reflects our continued commitment to exceptional world-class hospitality.” Developed in response to guest feedback, The Breeze is designed intentionally for guests who prefer the option of a completely smoke-free environment from the moment they arrive until the moment they leave. Extending beyond gaming, the new resort experience will offer a smoke-free arrival with access to lobby areas, hotel towers, restaurants, bars, gaming, spa and pool amenities. The meticulous $30 million renovation refreshed portions of the casino floor stretching from the Elvis piano display to Cipresso, along with the hotel lobby and L Bar, to smoke-free spaces. Enhancements include new carpeting, chairs, gaming table felts and ceiling treatments. Designated smoking areas remain available throughout the property. Guests can choose to smoke freely. Casino Promotions Over $500,000 in casino promotions will take place during Grand Opening Weekend including a $100,000 Influencer Hot Seat and a Blackjack Tournament benefiting the Roberto Clemente Foundation on Thursday, 19 November; a $100,000 Guitar Pick Drawing on Friday, 20 November; a $100,000 Home Makeover Drawing on Saturday, 21 November; and a 2026 Mercedes-Benz Electric G-Class SUV Drawing on Sunday, 22 November. Leading up to the weekend festivities, a “Find Your Pick. Choose Your Experience.” social media scavenger hunt will take place throughout Tampa Bay and Orlando, with 30 guitar picks hidden at iconic locations. Every finder brings the physical pick to Hard Rock Tampa on November 20 to claim prizes of resort credits, Free Play and hotel stays in person. Special Events “Find Your Flo” Yoga Class will take place poolside Sunday, 22 November, at 10 a.m. Presented in partnership with The Body Electric Yoga, the class is free for the first 50 guests to sign up. Participants must bring their own yoga mats and will be able to enjoy complimentary post-flow mimosas at 11 a.m. Surprise pop-up performances and celebrity appearances will be happening throughout the weekend.
